We live in a society based on right or wrong. There is no in-between. For an example: toys. Or more specifically, The Jack in the Box.
You can only turn the handle one way, and not the other way to make it work. Now this may seem simple, but when you are teaching a
1 yr old how to work it, you have to say, "No, turn it the other way." Now, the reason I use this as an example, is because in Switzerland,
there is a similar toy that you can turn the handle either way to make it work. Thus, giving the child options as to which way they want to turn it.
In this country, America, there is only one way to do everything, and all others ways are considered, at an early age, wrong; and at an older age, strange...weird,
stupid...etc. What is "wrong" with this picture? Well, we live in such a structured and organized reality that we end up limiting our minds so much that we,
as a society, perceive all things outside of this supposed normal reality, as strange. When, in fact, the only thing that is strange is the false perception that there is only
one way to do things.
